We are situated in the main square of the village of Loulay, within easy reach of all that the Charente Maritime has to offer.

Locally we have activities such as swimming, tennis, fishing,horseriding, walking etc, and of course the churches and Garden of Roman Sculpture.
Most friday nights in high season you can listen to live music in the square.

The Atlantic coast is only 45 minutes away and you will be spoilt for choice of beach locations!
A visit to Historic La Rochelle is on most visitors lists. With its wonderful setting on the Atlantic it is a great place to spend a day.
§
Inland destinations such as Cognac and Saintes, both set on the River Charente, are close at hand, and closer still are the market towns of St Jean d'Angely and Surgeres.
§
There are also many Chateaux to visit and other places of historical interest and
the tourist office in Loulay is just a stroll away if you run out of ideas.
